AccelGolf

AccelGolf, formerly mCaddie, Inc. is a mobile web and social networking startup anchored by an advisory team including former senior Yahoo!, Avaya, Nortel, and Lucent executives, PGA golfers, and professors at the University of Maine, Southern Maine, and Machias. Winner of the 2008 USM Annual Business Plan Competition, AccelGolf introduces wireless connectivity to the golf course by cell phone. Accessible through the mobile Internet, AccelGolf is also being developed for apple's iPhone and Google's Android platforms.
