Identity
Cops, which started in Cape Elizabeth
Identity
Cops Inc.
developed an innovative, web-based technology to prevent and remedy
identity theft and electronic privacy invasions. It is the only
technology of its kind, taking a preemptive step to search for all
potential sources of privacy invasion and prevent identity theft
from causing harm.
Through
this technology, Identity Cops is tackling a very serious and
growing problem. Their patent pending computer technology searches
hundreds of electronic databases, identifying potential security
breaches. It then automatically notifies subscribers when they may
be at risk and provides automatic and affirmative remedial options.
